HOME OWNERSHIP

We need to protect home ownership by lowering home insurance rates and helping homeowners who are struggling to keep their homes.   This will protect our neighborhoods' property values and help keep the crime rate low.  When families lose their home to foreclosure, we all lose!  Further reforms are needed to solve our home insurance problems. As your State Representative, I will work to bring together all the stakeholders including the state and local governments, the home insurance companies and homeowners to come to equitable solutions.  

BRINGING JOBS TO THE SPACE COAST

We need to work together to save our Space Center jobs.  If elected I will work tirelessly with other State and Federal elected officals and agencies to bring new jobs to the Space Coast in the Space Industry. One of the solutions that I will bring forward is to form a Space Consortium, similar to California's, that will work to bring the political and industry leaders together to bring new space funding to Florida and Brevard.

It is also important for the State to encourage new jobs through tax incentives for alternative energy solutions.  Lets make the Sunshine State into the Solar State!  Join me in moving Florida forward to a brighter future!

FAIR TAXATION

This campaign is about leadership for a new direction for Florida.  I will work tirelessly to support fair taxation and government efficiency so that cuts to education and services can be avoided.  This can be achieved by ensuring that tax loopholes are closed and all citizens and business share the tax burden equally.  I believe Government can be lean and responsive to the needs of its citizens.

PROTECTING OUR NATURAL RESOURCES

Florida's green spaces and water resources are a vital part of our economy and quality of life that Florida's citizens treasure. We need to work towards protecting our natural resources so that we are able to sustain a thriving economy while protecting the environment. With a greater focus on ecotourism and new technology for drinking water sources and energy, I will work to ensure that Florida remains a healthy and vibrant place for us and future generations.
